My first finished gameproject that I made as a student.
Our team consisted of three well motivated programmers and myself as the
main artist.
The project was made in the
Unity 5 engine.
The goal of this project was to come up with a fully functioning, polished and bug-free game.
The goal of the game is to guide your character through a dungeon and destroy the Goblin portals at the Shaman Hall.
You'll have to fight your way through waves of different Goblins and Ogres, using spells, constructions and your beloved bow 'n arrows.
I contributed by:
- Help designing the game mechanics
- Designing the visual style of the game ( Design document can be found on our GameProject blog)
- Creating 3D assets ( model, unwrap,hand painted texturing)
- All of the animations ( I have to admit that I never had any animation classes, so most of it is self-taught)
- UI: both visuals and the way it should work ( coding done by the programmers)
- Making a SplashScreen and DVD-cover
- working closely together with our FX programmer to make sure the particles using in game fitted the handpainted style
I had a blast working on this project with this team.
I dindn't know any of my fellow collueges before I started on this project, and ended up making three new friends.
Being in charge of all the visuals in this project gave me the opportunity to show others and myself that I can handle the responsibilities.
